The Course Was Well Laid Out.

She Walked Us Through The Readings At The Beginning Of Every Class, It Make It Much Easier To Digest The Material.

The Mid-Term Writing Assignment Was A Little Vague, At Least To Me, That Made It Difficult To Accomplish.

Dr. Dion Is An Excellent Professor. She Encouraged Students To Think Both Critically And Theoretically About Complex Issues. I Would Recommend Her To Other Students!

The Course Was Very Interesting, I Learnt A Lot. Dr. Dion Is Excellent Professor.

Student Comments about the Class or Instructor

The course seemed well planned and executed, and enjoyed the material. Those with out an extensive background in economics, as myself, were able to participate and engage in all subjects and topics. My recommendation, although it isn''t always received well by students, is to require a rough draft for the final paper, atleast for a completion grade, prior to the presentation. This way we are really encouraged to stay on the ball and not wait til the end to get things done! Overall, past criticism was overcome.

Dr. Dion is an outstanding addition to the INTA faculty. She is extremely knowledgeable and well-read in the subject matter. She was friendly and respectful to all student input and ideas. The class was also structured very well. My only complaint is that she didn''t share my love of Thomas Friedman''s charming, Andy Rooney-esque anecdotes.

The course was very interesting, i learnt a lot. Dr. Dion is excellent professor. Thank you.

Thank you so much for all of your help. There are very few teachers in this program that will take the time to help you with the very basics of writing and analysis. I really appreciate the time you took and would be happy to give you a firm recommendation for other students.

I think she did a great job of synthesizing the material and allowing students to contribute as well. To often in INTA courses, the floor is turned over to students, and the debates become an exchange of unstructured opinion. She presented the overall theories and let that structure debates. I only wish that I could have taken this course before Research Methods so that I could incorporate topics learned here into a more enlightening research project.
